Felipe, let me take a stab at this.
Dot Com: Refers to the main CrossFit website http://www.crossfit.com. They put their own workout of the day (WOD) up and when CrossFit Regina uses one of those workouts as our own workout of the day, it's referred to as a Dot Com
Met con: Metabolic Conditioning. This refers to a type of workout that is designed to get your heart pumping, as opposed to doing 3-2-1-1-1 of Deadlifts for maximum weight.
AMRAP: "As many rounds as possible" - This type of WOD has a set time, say 20 minutes and you have to complete as many rounds of the prescribed exercise as you can within that time.
eg. "Cindy is AMRAP in 20 minutes of 5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups and 15 air squats."
Oly Club – Olympic Lifting Club hosted by CrossFit Regina for members. Is it still on Monday nights? I don't know. I haven't been (even though I desperately need help with my sh!tty clean form)
If you have any other questions about CrossFit terminology (like any good cult, we have our own language), check out http://www.crossfit.com/cf-info/faq.html in general and http://www.crossfit.com/cf-inf…..#General10 specifically
Hope that helps.
