120222 – Clean & Jerk and Rowing Sprints

Kevin - Rope Climb

A. Clean and Jerk 80% x1x5, focus on form

*Games also do Squat Snatch 80% x1x5

B. Rowing Sprints 500m x3, rest 3-5 minutes between, compare to 111230

C. Mobility – couch stretch one min per side, tennis ball (or new therapy balls from yoga tune-up) between you and wall, to tight spots on chest, shoulders, back (in that order)

*Games work on Weeklies/weaknesses, the first Open workout will be released TONIGHT!

    Rack Jerks 125-135-145 x1x2
    Rowing Sprints with Aimee 1:56.5, 1:54.9, 2:02.1
    Goal was to keep it under a 2:00 pace. First cardio I’ve done since bronchitis, felt good to work out the lungs!

    Cleans: 195x1x5
    Rowing Sprints: 1:27, 1:32, 1:42 – I don’t think there is anything that so overwhelming wrecks me than rowing sprints. I need to start working on consistency…

  4. Pretty down all week, but today really cheered me up. Needed the exercise after a week of couch potato.

    A: 115
    B: 1:56.9 Good pace and not tired.
    2:04.6 Burned horribly in the first 20 secs and could not get back on track
    1:58.9 Pace myself to about 250 mts then up, up and ran out of gas with about 50 mts left.

    Yay for burpees in the first wod, I truly enjoy them :)
