Cool pic.
Worked on muscle ups for quite a while today and did a few jumping muscle-ups, so it’s coming… Sarah gave me some good tips to work up to it. And speaking of Sarah – congrats on your 200 lb deadlift PR! You are small but mighty
That’s awesome!
I did a PR of 160 for 5 reps, then did those crazy get-ups with the sand bag.
Fun day.
Oh wait.. on second thought – I think Sarah did more than 200 lbs… what did you end up at Sarah?
thanks nina! thanks for working out with me:) today was a great day for me- i got a muscle- up – and i felt like my transition was tight. I went in thinking i would deadlift 185×5 – that felt good so i tried 200×5 that felt good so i tried for a 1RM 225!
super happy
Mu’s got em done, had trouble on my set of 4 for some reason and broke them up. Worked on double the hspu’s in between mu sets for practice as well.
Dl 5 @ 385
Skipped the get ups due to time and knee constraints
Who ever is doing the PainstOOOOOOrM tomorrow is Prolly the coolest&Luckiest humans in regina……..Jus Sayin;)
Sarah! SARAH!!! That is MASSIVE! I am totally pumped for you. I can’t believe your muscle-up and 225lbs PR on the dead lift both happened and I didn’t get to see them. Shucks…
I loved today. I was meant to take a rest day but couldn’t help it and ended up jumping in head first. I got 3 strict muscle-ups in a row (PR). All of them strict, really happy about that! I did 185lbs on the dead lift and found my rhythm in the modified Turkish Get-ups at 45lbs and did 30 unbroken. I can’t believe how good it all felt today. Now that I have my grip figured out for the MUs I think I will be able to get the 5 4 3 2 1 set done next time.
Blair L… 385lbs for 5! Yeah, that is 100lbs more than me. Always the next mountain in the distance…. one day perhaps. Until then I will just celebrate how much fun we all had today!
I didn’t even think to check Jarrett’s numbers today! I just realized that… LOL
Oh, how remiss of me!!
Aaron, thank you for your sage advise, as always. Your comments on the grip really helped. Thank you!!
Cheers,
Jacob
