    Oh, today’s WOD…have you ever done a WOD, thinking you’ve done it as rx’d and, then, discovering you USED THE WRONG BOXES FOR THE BOX JUMP??? AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

    I’m so bitter right now. Must. Double check. Boxes. Next time!

  7. Not to make you feel worse but…even all 5’2 of me did the 24″ box jumps RHM! haha next time my friend… ;)

  8. RHM, I’ve done that once or twice with barbell weights, and I still get a little paranoid about it.

    Harlan tried to goad me into using the 30-inch weight box over by the crash pad this morning. No dice. I had a feeling that about 40 jumps into the 150 that this WOD requires, I would have figured out a way to grievously injure myself.

    As it turns out, it was my big German CrossFit life partner who had a slight mishap on the box jump today. Hope you’re doing better, big guy!

  10. Well 45 mins for Darcy might be ‘slow’ but today was my first workout finsihed as Rx’d!!!!

    Time was 46:12 but I was sandbagging it for next time… ;-)

    To be honest, without the encouragement from Robyn and the class, as they were already finished and catching their breath, I’m not sure I would have finished.

    Here’s to CFR and my first STAR!

    Why do I love crossfit? Cause you can come back from winning a comp, only to have your ass handed to you 2 days in a row by D3. Good job buddy.

    That’s awesome, Rob. You have a benchmark for next time. I’m guessing you’ll knock 10-15 minutes off of that next time. Just a gut feeling I’ve got. At least your time is honest. Unlike mine…ARGH!!!

  13. 35:38 as Rx’d and I had to wait a couple of minutes for a rower so I might have been 33 something. My box jumps felt pretty good as did the wall balls for the most part. I haven’t rowed much recently so I wasted a good minute there compared to the big guns in the gym.

    All in all a decent night.

This one hurt, 38:something and the closest I’ve ever come to puking, everything felt ok while doing it but the transitions killed me, everytime I moved to the next exercise I felt my heart pounding in my head, not a fun workout at BW 255……although none of them are, got to drop some lbs quick here
