Is anyone else planning on Rx’ing at 1? Since there is only 1 70lb KB, are we just doing heats? Are you up for going head-to-head Brian?
What’s your favorite color? Your blood type? Doctor’s name? Weight?
Yes Christian, if more than one guy would like to do this workout rx’d we will have to run this in heats… or possibly stagger start depending on the number of guys wanting to rx.
I’ve used 2x35lb dumbbells in lieu of a 70lb kettlebell. Just an idea.
Nate rx’d with kipping HSPU’s 5 rounds.
I don’t plan on doing the kipping HSPU’s anymore, but wanted to compare to the last Nate where I had used them. last time 3+1.
10+1 with jumping MU from 12″ box with a 45lb and 10lb bumper plate (wanted to be safe and not screw up my arm). I used the 70lb KB without breaking up the reps so that felt great. I did negatives for the HSPU since my sissy shoulders will not play ball my desire to do them as RX’d. I’ll eventually get there.
That was me – not Leya.
as rx’d 7 rounds + 8kb’s, I was extremely happy with this, as it represented total MU’s for me of 3 thru 16, and HSPU’s 4 thru 32(need to continue working on my range of motion for these). Wasn’t sure I was going to be able to rx this one, but know I needed to work on those 2 elements so really wanted to try this one out. Having Brian, Christian, and Chris there to try and keep up with helped alot.
Finished with a 500M row (as per the Seattle monthly challenge) 1:34.2, including a stinkin slip off the seat.
Nate rx’d with strict HSPU’s. 5 rds +2. My first workout ever with strict HSPU’s! I totally expected to get 1, maybe 2 rounds, then resort to negatives. But, the HSPU’s felt a lot better than expected. Actually got 2 in a row a few times. Thanks for working out with me Robin!
Thank you too, Kelly, I think Nate is my new favorite Hero workout!!
Rx’d but with kipping HSPU – 6 rounds +2MU +2HSPU
Next goal = strict HSPU
